How
Hero Training Camp VBS Works
Preschoolers have their own version of Hero Training
Camp while older children rotate from Station to
Station learning how to be a hero.
Children are grouped by Squads of 5-7
children of varying ages. Mixing ages gives children
a more creative and interesting learning experience.
Several Squads form a Group. Each Group has about
20-30 children who then rotate between six stations,
each featuring a different way of learning the lesson
for the day.
Station Managers guide the children through two
or three activities such as a craft and a game, or
a Bible story and role play, or a snack and an activity.
Hero Training Camp VBS is easy to run because the
station model makes preparation much easier.
Children sing songs, learn Bible verses, practice
skills, and hear Bible stories from the life of David
as they learn practical ways to be heroes right now
in their homes and with their friends.
