DR. SCOTT TURANSKY

Dr. Scott Turansky is a pastor, professor, author, and co-founder of the National Center for Biblical Parenting. For more than 40 years he has been equipping parents, leaders, and churches with practical, heart-based strategies that bring lasting change to families.

Scott received his Master of Divinity from Western Seminary and later earned his Doctor of Ministry from Fuller Theological Seminary, specializing in family ministry and leadership. He serves as a Professor at Concordia University, where he teaches graduate-level parenting and family-life courses, training the next generation of family ministry leaders.

A seasoned pastor, Dr. Turansky has shepherded churches for decades and currently serves as Teaching Pastor at GraceWay Bible Church in Hamilton, New Jersey. He is also the co-author of fifteen books on parenting and family life, including Parenting is Heart Work, The Christian Parenting Handbook, and Motivate Your Child. His books, webinars, and courses have impacted thousands of families across the country and around the world.

Dr. Turansky has trained over 500 Biblical Parenting Coaches and developed seven parenting courses used in churches, small groups, and homes. His work focuses on helping parents move beyond behavior modification to reach the deeper beliefs, values, and convictions in a child’s heart. His teaching is known for being deeply biblical, highly practical, and filled with hope for real change.

As a speaker, Scott has presented parenting seminars across the United States and internationally, equipping parents to address issues such as anger, disrespect, defiance, responsibility, sibling conflict, and emotional development. His mission is to come alongside churches to strengthen families, support overwhelmed parents, and help children develop character that will guide them for the rest of their lives.

Scott has been married to his wife, Carrie, for over 46 years. Together they enjoy their growing family, including their children and twelve grandchildren. His passion for strong, faith-filled families is not just his ministry—it’s his life.
