What happens at the end of the one-year
subscription?
As your subscription
anniversary draws close you will receive an indication that
it's time to renew. If you don't renew then the browser becomes
inaccessible and you won't be able to login.
Does it require each child to have his/her
own (Windows) account?
Yes, each child will have his/her own
Windows account allowing you to set the parental control
settings that come with Noah's Internet for that particular
child.
How does the parental control panel work?
This
is just one of the great features of Noah's Internet. The
Parental Control feature is web-based so that you can access
it from your own computer at home or at work. If you get
to work and remember that you want to add a chore or an encouraging
statement for Noah then you can add it in from any computer.
Does Noah's Internet work on an Administrator
account?
Yes, it works on an administrator account. All of
the features work on the administrator account as well.
What are the system requirements?
Noah's Internet
currently only works on Windows machines. It doesn't currently
work on a Mac. The software size is 7,206KB. Version 10.0.
Operation System Requirements: Windows 98/Me/XP/Vista. 56.6K
Modem Speed or higher. 133 MHz or higher. 64 MB RAM or higher.
13 MB free hard disk space or more. Sound Card/Speakers,
2 MB video card
What email programs does Noah's Internet work
with?
Noah's Internet includes its own email system so that
your child will have his/her own email account through Noah's
Internet.
Is the Noah browser a skin on top of IE or
Firefox or some other browser?
No. Noah's Internet is its
own unique browser.
What prevents my child from using another
browser to access non-approved sites?
You can eliminate the
access to other browsers through the parental control. If
you allow an additional browser there is no protection through
Noah's Internet. When you enable the parental control feature
in the Noah's Internet package then all other programs are
blocked except the ones on your approved list.
Does it have time-based controls (e.g., 30
minutes a day)?
No. At the current time Noah's Internet doesn't
have time-based controls.
