Heart Moment Contest Winners
Thank you to all who submitted a Heart Moment
story for our Heart Moment Contest. It was a joy to read
the entries. Although the contest is over, we are still
accepting Heart Moment stories and who knows, they might
appear in a book someday. If you'd like to tell us your
heart moment, please click here.
Heart Moments are connection times between parents and
children. They usually come unexpectedly when parents are
doing their normal work of parenting. They often bring
bursts of laughter or tears as a child finally gets a truth,
initiates some special action, or says something that warms
a parent's heart.
Heart Moments come in many ways. These three winners provide
just a few examples of the reasons why we, as parents,
do what we do. Although parenting is a lot of work, it's
these moments of joy that keep us moving forward.
