Here's a new opportunity for you to reach out to parents in your community. The International Network of Children's Ministry has teamed up with the National Center for Biblical Parenting to offer regional Start with the Heart Parenting Seminars. We are now looking for host churches for this exciting new ministry.

Summary
You can choose the schedule. Saturday 8:30 am to 12:30 pm, or Saturday 9:00 am to 2:30 pm, or Sunday 1:30 pm to 5:30 pm. The seminar will be taught by a live presenter trained by the National Center for Biblical Parenting. Attendees will learn practical ways to move from a simple behavior modification approach to a heart-based approach to parenting.

What Material Will be Taught at These Seminars?
The content for the seminar is taken from the National Center for Biblical Parenting. Dr. Scott Turansky and Joanne Miller have been teaching parenting seminars for 14 years and their Parenting is Heart Work material is the basis for the Start with the Heart Parenting Seminars. In fact, Dr. Turansky and Mrs. Miller are training the presenters for these seminars.

What is the Cost for Hosting a Seminar?
Most of the cost has to do with energy expended to advertise and promote the seminar. As with any good conference, publicity and promotion are key. Although there are no other fees for hosting this seminar, it would be wise for you to budget funds for promoting the event.

What is the Cost for Attendees?
The cost for attending the seminar is $15 per attendee. These fees go to INCM and help pay for the presenter and other administrative costs.

What Kind of Promotion Will INCM and NCBP Do?
The local churches who team up to provide this seminar are primarily responsible to get the word out and to register people. INCM will use several resources to also promote the seminar. Using email blasts, our web site, and our many contacts, we will also publicize and promote the seminar. We provide you with full color posters and a reproducible flier for you to duplicate and distribute in and outside your church.
