I support the National Center for Biblical Parenting because their ideas are practical and easy to implement into family life and wherever you are working with children.
After reading just one book by Dr Scott Turansky and Joanne Miller I was able to change the way I discipline my kids. I saw how I needed to change before I could work on my children's hearts. Learning how to control my anger and stop using a system of rewards and punishments with my kids released me from always having to be the bad guy.
Taking a Break rather than Time Out was life changing for us. It taught my children they are responsible for their own actions. I felt more like a coach when I used National Center for Biblical Parenting strategies rather than a jail warden. I have four children with very different personalities and having each of them work on what they needed to succeed helped us move forward preparing them for adulthood.
I want to invite you to join with me in support of the National Center for Biblical Parenting today.
